You are reading this because you have taken the first step to creating a healthier lifestyle for yourself, so well done. You will be ready to jump head first into your meal programme on Monday morning and you will undoubtedly reap the rewards. However, there is one key element in all of our lives that can deter progress and limit our ability to achieve those ultimate goals, and that is discipline. So that will be the buzzword for this blog. Discipline. J
In order to see change in ourselves and our bodies during the Lose Body Fat programme, it really is imperative that a few simple rules are followed:
1) Try as best you can to have your meals at ‘normal’ meal times
2) Drink plenty of water throughout the day (aim for 2 litres)
3) Avoid fizzy drinks and juices & alcohol
4) Avoid junk food
5) Take regular exercise
These 5 simple steps will ensure that you get the most out of this programme and it all comes down to discipline. So before you get started, we would suggest you get your house prepared. Hide the kit kats, eat the remainder of your easter eggs, finish that bottle of wine and dig out your gym clothes!
Come Monday, you need to be in a frame of mind that will not give into early temptation. Start strong. Finish stronger.
Complement each day of clean eating with plenty of water and some exercise. When we say exercise, we don’t mean for you to sign up to a crazy gym routine and go twice a day, five times a week! Go for a walk, take the stairs instead of the lift, do yoga/pilates/aerobics in your living room using Youtube videos. Vary your exercise, do it 3 times a week (at least) and make it fun and relevant to you.
Like any other locker room, this is where we will share ideas, give advice, motivate each other, inspire each other and work together to achieve success. Feel free to ask us questions. We will use this space to answer any queries that any of our members have over the coming weeks and we will help you all 100% throughout your journeys! There will be ups and downs but that’s all part of the process. If you stay as disciplined as you possibly can throughout the duration of your LBF programme then you will see wonderful results! Really buy into your first week, enjoy your food, be positive & stay disciplined and we promise, you will feel great and you will look great. Then come Sunday, relax a bit.
